While working as an ER nurse, Shane founded, designed, and developed ShiftWizard, a web-based staff scheduling and analytics company for healthcare organizations. Shane was instrumental in raising Venture Capital for ShiftWizard, which was later acquired by HealthStream, a publicly traded healthcare software company.
After his short retirement, Shane sought to start another business and realized that he had a passion for wholesaling and auctioneering.
Shane is an experienced, accomplished, self-driven entrepreneur with 13+ years of a proven track record in capital healthcare sales, business growth, leadership, and operational experience. A highly proficient leader known for his ability to effectively lead and manage sales and negotiations with executives and large enterprise contracts. Shane holds strengths in strategic sales, business development, revenue growth, and account management that have resulted in quantifiable growth and high profit margins.
In 2015, Shane was one of an elite group of workforce industry experts selected to form the Advisory Board for Workforce Management at the American Nurse’s Association in Washington, D.C., a collaborative effort dedicated to synthesizing nursing innovation and technology to drive quality in health care delivery.
Shane now devotes his extra time as the Chairperson of Sponsorship and Fundraising for St. Jude of the Carolinas, raising nearly $2.5M at 2 annual, one-night events in Charlotte, NC in 2022 and 2023. The 2022 the Celebrity Chef and Wine Dinner was honored as the “National Event of the Year” for St. Jude by ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
